Phil Restan lives in the North Scottish Highlands, with its impressive mountain regions of Assynt and Coigach. Consequently many of the photos on this site reflect the wild and rugged nature of this picturesque part of the United Kingdom.
Phil specialises in dramatic landscapes, particularly mountain and loch scenes.
He has combined his hobbies of hill-walking and photography, so many of the images are taken from the summits of the many mountains, giving views that the casual visitor never sees.
You will find these photos in the landscape section of the galleries. Some are more natural images giving a true representation of the scene, whereas others have been digitally manipulated to create a more artistic finish.
A new addition to the site is the panoramic gallery. There are only a limited number of panoramic photos at present, but more will be added in the coming months.
All the images on the site are available for sale. Details of sizes and prices are on the prints page. All printing is done by a professional laboratory to the highest standards.

This site was designed and built by Phil Restan. Phil completed a home learning course in Web Design which he passed with distinction. Although he has built and maintains other sites, this is the one he is really pleased with.
