I have included images of both wild and captive animals and birds in this section. These include photos of the very popular Highland cows taken at Crask and beside Loch Hope in Sutherland., also Puffins and Ptarmigan.

These images are black and white photos that have been converted from colour photos. Here you will find photos of the ever popular Ardvreck Castle which sits on a small Island in Loch Assynt and some some of the many small attractive historical churches found in the Highlands.

Photos of some of the many historic churches and castles which can be found in the Scottish Highlands, these include the very attractive Eilean Donan Castle which attracts many thousands of visitors each year and Ardvreck Castle which also attracts visitors to the Assynt area.
